Now, imagine the vastness of the writing landscape as an uncharted sea. It’s thrilling but could be overwhelming, especially when you’re paddling your little boat, loaded with stories, insights, or ideas.

You’re brimming with potential, yet unsure where to anchor. Don’t fret! I've done the heavy lifting and mapped out this expansive ocean for you. This list serves as a lighthouse, guiding you towards ports — publications — that are not just welcoming, but are actively looking for what you have to offer. So, sit back, strap in, and prepare to set sail on a journey of publishing exploration and discovery.

In my last two posts, I shared publications that have boosting powers. If you missed them, you can find them here:

Note that I will be writing and explaining each publication until I get tired of typing. That means I won’t be able to write all 200 at once, and it will be a lot of part stories. Then I will move on to the next story the next day or later, or the moment this story is already published, and so on and so forth. Got it?

Let’s get started

Personal Growth — by Personal Growth with editor Dan Pedersen

In the vibrant corner of the internet called “Personal Growth,” you’ll find an eclectic mosaic of articles, each one focused on aspects of self-improvement, personal development, and, unsurprisingly, personal growth.

Far from the typical media company, Personal Growth proudly stands as a trove of thought and inspiration, carefully curated by a single individual. You’ll quickly notice that Personal Growth isn’t just about the voice of one, but many. It’s a platform that graciously opens its doors to independent writers who have captivating tales to tell and thought-provoking insights to share.

In truth, it’s the very diversity of perspectives that gives this publication its richness. However, this does not mean that the curator endorses all the views articulated in the published pieces. Nor does it suggest endorsement of any products or services promoted within the stories. The curator’s aim is rather simple: to share pieces they believe readers might find interesting, engaging, or enlightening.

This philosophy extends to the courses, books, and various other resources you may find advertised under the Personal Growth publication.

With such a diverse group of writers, the publication bound to receive feedback, questions, or maybe even a pitch for a fantastic story. For those, you can reach out to them at pgeditors@gmail.com. Keep in mind that the curator is a single individual who may not be able to handle every request.

Paper Poetry — by Suntonu Bhadra with editors Carolyn Hastings and Indubala Kachhawa

In this digital era where technology rules, our lives are woven with invisible threads of automation and precision. We navigate through our days dictated by scheduled notifications, tap-responsive screens, and the ceaseless hum of speech-to-text. But as we stride further into the future, we can’t help but look back and yearn for the more tactile and personal aspects of our past.

At Paper Poetry, they deeply value the artistry that blooms in the whispers of the pen against paper. They believe that there’s something profoundly human about the weight of a pen in your hand, the rhythmic dance of its tip on a blank sheet. To some poets, that’s where the magic happens; where thoughts condense into words, emotions take form, and birth verses that echo the human experience.

They're inviting you to journey with them, back to the roots of handwritten poetry. To embrace the beauty that blossoms from paper kissed by ink. To remember, and remind, that though we’ve stepped into the digital, the value of our traditional ways still holds a unique charm.
